Guaranteed Keyword Ranking: Target a Position, Not Just a Direction
Most campaigns tell you a keyword "improved". This one starts with a number: which keyword, in which country, at which position, inside which timeframe. Then we do the work of getting your app there.
We agree the target before delivery starts, and we tell you honestly when a keyword is not a realistic target for an app at your stage. That is the difference between a plan you can measure and a promise nobody can keep.

Search traffic on Google Play and the App Store is not spread evenly down the results page. The apps shown first take the overwhelming share of taps, and the further down you sit, the more of that intent you hand to somebody else. Page two for a high-intent keyword is functionally the same as absence, minus the cost of the attempt.
Search also brings the visitor who needs the least persuasion. A shopper who typed a use case already knows what they want; they are choosing between options, not browsing. That is why one position gain on a commercial keyword often beats a much larger gain on a broad one.
The stores rank on relevance to the query plus behavioural signals around the app, including how often people find it and install it for that query. Keyword search-and-install activity is how you feed those signals deliberately instead of waiting for organic behaviour to drift your way.
Position is competitive by nature. If a competitor is running activity on the same keyword, standing still is losing ground, which is why a target comes with a monitoring window rather than a handshake.
What we deliver
1. Keyword screening and difficulty scoring
We start from the keywords you already rank for, the ones your competitors rank for, and the phrases shoppers actually use in your category. Each candidate is scored on estimated demand, how crowded the top of the results is, how well your metadata matches the phrase, and whether the intent fits your product. Keywords that would send you traffic that never converts are dropped here, not sold to you.
2. A position target per keyword, not one blanket promise
Not every keyword can carry the same ambition. Where you already sit just outside the visible range, the target might be a specific higher position. For a crowded head term, the honest target may be a wider band over a longer window, or skipping it in favour of mid-tail phrases that together deliver more installs. Your plan lists the target per keyword, so you can see exactly what you are buying.
3. Ranking delivery through keyword search-and-install activity
Delivery runs as search-and-install activity in the target storefront: the app is found by searching the agreed phrase in the agreed country, then installed from the results. Where your app is not yet visible for a phrase at all, we tell you the starting distance before you commit. Volume and daily pacing are set per keyword according to difficulty.
4. Position tracking and milestone reporting
You get the position for each target keyword, in each country, checked from the storefront that matters rather than from a global average. Reports compare against the baseline recorded at kickoff, so progress and slippage are both visible. If a keyword is underperforming at the halfway point, we say so and propose a change instead of letting the window run out.
How it works
- Discovery and baseline. You send your app links and target markets. We pull your current positions, metadata and closest competitors, build a candidate list, then narrow it to phrases with real intent and realistic difficulty, recording the exact starting position for each.
- Agree targets and window. You approve which keywords go into the campaign, the position each is aiming for, the storefronts involved, and the window in which we expect to reach them.
- Execute in waves. Delivery starts on the highest-value keywords first, with pacing adjusted as positions move. Faster-moving keywords free budget for the harder ones.
- Review at the milestone. We compare reached positions against targets, identify what to hold, push or drop, and agree whether to extend the window or move budget to a different service.
Who this is for
- Apps that rank somewhere but never in the visible range. Sitting deep in the results for the right phrases is the most common and most fixable situation we see.
- Apps competing for a small number of high-intent keywords. When the whole category funnels through a handful of queries, position on those queries is the business.
- Teams that need a measurable deliverable. If reporting has to show a position, a storefront and a date rather than a vague "visibility increase", this is the structure for it.
- Apps entering a new country. A storefront where you have no ranking history needs activity aimed at that market's own search behaviour and language.
Frequently asked questions
Is the target position actually guaranteed?
The commitment is a defined position for a defined keyword in a defined storefront, pursued inside an agreed window, with the plan and starting position written down before work begins. Apple and Google control their own algorithms, so no third party can bind them contractually. What we can do is refuse keywords we do not believe are reachable, and report honestly when a target is not being met.
How long does a keyword take to move?
It depends on demand, how crowded the results are, the category, the storefront and how far your app has to travel. A long-tail phrase in a smaller market moves faster than a head term in a major one, which is why we quote a window per keyword rather than one number for the campaign.
How is this different from buying keyword installs?
Keyword installs are sold as a volume of activity: a number of searches and installs on a phrase. This service is sold as an outcome: a position target, with the activity needed to pursue it chosen by us. If you already know your keyword list and just want volume, the keyword installs page is the simpler fit.
What happens after the campaign window ends?
Ranking is not a permanent state. Once activity stops, positions drift as competitors keep working. We recommend either a maintenance level of activity on the keywords that matter most, or moving the effort into metadata and creative work that makes the ranking easier to hold.
Can you work on keywords where my app does not appear at all?
Sometimes, and we will say when it is not worth trying. If your app is nowhere for a phrase, the distance is short only when your metadata and category already match the query. If they do not, the fix is upstream: rewrite the title, subtitle and description first, then run ranking activity against the improved listing.
